Today, they’re grown primarily in the Tama area, including the cities of Hachioji, Hino, Kokubunji, and Kodaira. In 2015, Tokyo produced the highest crop yield in the country.

In Tokyo, blueberries are in season from mid-June to mid-September. In the vicinity of Kodaira, not only are there orchards selling fresh blueberries, but there are also tourist farms here and there where you can pick blueberries.
